Law enforcement, state lawmakers respond to deadly TBI agent shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – For the first time in the state’s history, an agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was killed in the line of duty.

Special Agent De’Greaun Frazier was shot to death Tuesday afternoon while operating undercover with a suspect in a drug investigation.

Congressman Steve Cohen: “I am saddened by the death of TBI Special Agent and former Millington Police Officer De’Greaun Frazier who was killed in the line of duty today,” said Congressman Cohen. “Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. My thoughts go out to Agent Frazier’s family, friends and colleagues.”
