Gallatin police warn residents of local man’s gas scam

GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Gallatin police have issued a warning about a man accused of scamming residents at local gas pumps.

According to a release from police, Tori Martin tells people that his wife and children are at another location to keep cool and that he has a check, but no one will cash it because he does not have identification.

He cons people into paying for his gas then never pumps the gas and goes into the store to get refunded, said the police warning.

Gallatin police are warning residents who see Martin to contact them.

Anyone with information related to this or any other crimes that have occurred in Gallatin are asked to contact the Gallatin Police Department at 452-1313.
