Fort Campbell soldier accused of robbing gas station

Ky. (WKRN) – Christian County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Fort Campbell soldier in connection to a July 25 robbery.

Robert Griffith, 20, is accused of holding up the Minit Mart in Pembroke, Kentucky.

Griffith reportedly entered the store with a handgun and demanded money on July 25. Surveillance video helped identify him as a suspect.

A release from Christian County said Griffith was a soldier at Fort Campbell and the base’s Criminal Investigation Department helped deputies locate him.

Griffith was held on $25,000 bond on first-degree robbery charges.
