CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools will be open Wednesday, despite Tuesday’s storms sparking an electrical fire, which damaged the district’s computer systems.
Parents began receiving calls from the school system around 5 a.m. to let them know the system is operational.
The storm “significantly impacted the school district’s main servers,” according to a Facebook post from the district.
The servers support bus transportation, food services, phone service in critical areas, and PowerSchool.
Spokeswoman Elise Shelton thanked crews who worked through the night to ensure all critical systems were up and running.
