Woman surrenders after barricading herself in Antioch home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A woman surrendered to police after barricading herself inside a home in Antioch for at least two hours Friday night.

It happened at a home on Towne Village Road in the Percy Priest community.

Metro police told News 2 the woman barricaded herself after making statements that caused her family to become concerned.

Negotiators spent at least two hours trying to get her to exit the home.

She surrendered peacefully around 1 a.m. and was taken to an area hospital to be evaluated.
