Goodlettsville earned a day off Sunday and will play Monday against the only other unbeaten team in regionals, West Virginia.

The team is playing in honor of one of their coaches, Jimmy Ezzell, who recently lost his battle with cancer.

The All-Stars are using the tournament as an opportunity to raise awareness about juvenile diabetes.

Easton Dillard was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes when he was just a pre-schooler. In the past, Easton helped raise more than $25,000, and he’s even discussed funding for diabetes research with congressmen.
