FAIRVIEW, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Fairview Police Department started the termination process for three officers Wednesday.

Lt. Pat Stockdale, Lt. Shane Dunning and Assistant Chief Mark Sutton were placed on suspension in March.

The Fairview Police Chief Terry Harris retired from his position in February.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were both involved in an investigation, allegedly into possible public corruption in the police department and city hall.

The officers told News 2 in May they were not sure what they were being investigated for.

“I’ve done nothing wrong,” Lt. Stockdale said at the time. “All I’m guilty of is loving this city and wanting to do right by the citizens, but I feel helpless.”
