NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Tennessee’s Sales Tax Holiday begins at midnight Friday, and a lot of people will be using it to buy electronics.

Stores like Best Buy will have tax free computers, laptops and tablets that are $1,500 or less this weekend.

They’re also offering extra college student deals creating a one stop shop for dorm room essentials from mini fridges to printers.

“So tax free items are going to be just those computers and tablets but everything else we have is going to be on sale great deals out there for people coming in so they can come in and just have to shop at one place get it all at one time, said assistant manager Kyle Cunningham.

Electronics for college dorm rooms can be quite popular this time of year, too.

“We have a lot of customers coming in asking for ever year are mini fridges we have lots of those in stock and ready. Microwaves and toaster ovens are popular we’re also seeing a huge increase in the amount of people that get Keurig coffee makers and blenders and things like that that are smaller devices,” said Cunningham.
