3-year-old hit by car near Pearl-Cohn High School, suffers minor injuries

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 3-year-old girl was hit by a car Thursday night near Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. near the baseball field behind the school.

According to officials on the scene, the child ran into the roadway in front of a moving car. She suffered minor injuries and is expected to be OK.

Police told News 2 no charges will be filed.

No other details were immediately released about the incident.
