SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three people were arrested in the robbery and shooting of a clerk of a Springfield market last weekend.

Police say through tips from the public, they were able to develop information on the suspects in the July 24 incident at Korner Market.

A man ran into the market and demanded cash, but the clerk reached for his gun and tried to push away. The clerk was then shot multiple times.

Two suspects were arrested Wednesday and have been identified as 26-year-old Larry Taylor of Nashville and 19-year-old Ta’Kin Briley of Springfield. They were charged with especially aggravated robbery and are being held in lieu of $500,00 bond.

The third suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Samuel Bradley of Nashville. He was arrested Thursday at a McDonald’s in Smyrna. His charges were immediately known but police said he is being held without bond.

Authorities said all three have admitted to taking part in the robbery. It remains unclear which suspect allegedly fired the gun.
