Police investigating shooting in north Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are looking for a suspect after a 19-year-old was shot in North Nashville early Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Meadow Hill Drive near Kings Lane and Buena Vista Pike.

Police told News 2 the victim’s grandmother called 911.

Detectives found shotgun hulls in the middle of the street. They also talked with the victim’s relatives before they tore down the crime scene just before 4:30 a.m.

The teenage victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say he is not telling them anything about the suspect, and no witnesses have come forward.

They’re asking anyone who does have information about the crime to call Crime stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
