NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – This fall, Charlie Daniels officially becomes a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
At a lunch Wednesday honoring the country legend in the CMA Theater, News 2 found out he’ll also be the subject of a new exhibit.
Charlie Daniels: Million Mile Reflections opens this Sept. 23 in advance of the medallion ceremony on Oct. 16.
But while he was being honored, Daniels also wanted to give a shout out to a fellow Mt. Juliet resident who’s also pretty special –our very own Lisa Patton, who retires Wednesday night after 25 years at WKRN.
“It’s gonna be hard to imagine the weather without Lisa, and Lisa, we’re proud of you darlin’ and we’re gonna miss you. But you’ve got a well-deserved retirement, so enjoy that family of yours. But don’t forget us, okay?” he said, ending his words with a kiss.
