NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police arrested three teenagers in the robbery of a Chinese food delivery driver.

The robbery happened outside a vacant house at 777 Hospital Drive Saturday night.

The teenagers were caught after police say an employee at China Bell restaurant got a call for a delivery to that same address on Monday.

The employee recognized the address and called police, who responded to the area and spotted two 17-year-olds walking toward the house.

One was taken into custody and allegedly admitted his involvement. Police say he had a stolen handgun with him at the time. The other fled on foot but was taken into custody at a nearby home.

The third suspect was later found to be one of the 17-year-old’s little brothers. A backpack with a gun inside was reportedly found inside his bedroom.

Each is charged in juvenile court with aggravated robbery.
