Old Hickory grow operation busted by Metro police

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police arrested a man after they busted a marijuana grow operation in Old Hickory.

Officers executed a search warrant at Roger Sexton’s home on Debow Street Wednesday, according to a press release.

Police say they found the grow operation in the basement.

Seventeen marijuana plants were seized, along with four ounces of processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and several loaded firearms.

Sexton, 63, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, weapon possession during the commission of a felony, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He is free on $6,000 bond.
