Shots fired at north Nashville home with family inside

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A family was uninjured after shots were fired at their north Nashville home early Wednesday morning.

It happened in the 3000 block of Richmond Hill Drive off Brick Church Pike.

Metro police told News 2 the residents heard what they thought were fireworks outside the home around 2:30 a.m.

One resident was getting ready for work around 4 a.m. when they reportedly noticed their storm door glass had been shattered and a hole in the front door.

There were juveniles inside the home at the time of the shooting but no one in the home was injured.

The road is closed while crime scene investigators collect evidence and process the scene.

No additional information was immediately released.
