Metro police seek 2 armed suspects after ATM shot, 2 robbed

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are seeking two armed suspects after they fired shots at a Regions Bank ATM and later robbed two men in separate cases at a local apartment complex.

Metro police said the crimes began shortly before 6 a.m.

The suspects fired shots at the Regions Bank ATM located at 5218 Hickory Hollow Parkway and minutes later robbed two men in separate hold-ups in an apartment complex parking lot on Hickory Hollow Place.

An investigation revealed the suspects fired a shotgun at the ATM and used a pry bar in an attempt to open the it when someone pulled up to use the device.

The suspects jumped into a newer model Chevrolet sedan and drove away, according to police.

Police said they went to an apartment complex on Hickory Hollow Place and robbed two men in separate incidents. In both incidents, the victims were punched by the robbers.

The two gunmen are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. One had long dreads and a light complexion, while the other had short hair and a dark complexion.
