6 injured in Humphreys County crash on I-40

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least six were injured Wednesday morning in a crash on Interstate 40 in Humphreys County.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Sgt. Travis Plotzer told News 2 a minivan crashed, was traveling eastbound on I-40 when it left the roadway and went onto the right side shoulder and over corrected, causing it to roll over.

The minivan then struck the concrete traffic barrier and rolled two more times.

Two were trapped inside the vehicle and crews at the scene worked to pull them from the vehicle. To others were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and two others were transported to TriStar Horizon Medical Center.
