NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was injured and a driver is on the run after a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 65 South Wednesday morning.
It happened near the Trinity Lane exit around 3:30 a.m.
Metro police told News 2 a vehicle swerved in front of the semi-truck, causing the rig to hit a wall.
The driver of the vehicle fled from the crash while a passenger was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi was uninjured.
Two right lanes of the roadway are closed while crews work to clean up diesel fuel leaking from the truck.
No additional information was immediately released.
