NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two drivers were taken to a local hospital following a head on collision on Sam Ridley Parkway Wednesday.
The roadway is open, but crews on the scene are diverting traffic from northbound lanes into the far left lane of southbound lane as they investigate the crash.
Both drivers were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
Smyrna police report that one vehicle crossed the median and collided head on with the second vehicle.
Sam Ridley Parkway was closed at Lowry Street for about two hours as crews investigated the scene.
