Reward offered for information in robbery of Mt. Juliet restaurant

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Mt. Juliet Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of a man who robbed a Mt. Juliet restaurant.

The robbery happened on June 9 at Country Casseroles on 14825 Lebanon Road around 7 p.m.

As an employee was taking out the trash, the suspect forced his way through the backdoor and took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

The man stated that he had a handgun but did not show it. He then fled the restaurant on foot toward Springmont Boulevard.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

A sketch artist with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation worked with a witness to develop a composite drawing of the suspect.

He is described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old, weighing around 160 to 180 pounds and between 5 foot 8 and 6 feet inches tall. He has shoulder length brown hair and was unshaven.

The suspect was also wearing a Bob Marley T-shirt at the time of the robbery.
