Motorcyclist attacked after crash on I-65 North

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A motorcyclist was reportedly attacked by another rider on Interstate 65 North early Friday morning.

The victim told police he and a friend were riding on I-65 toward downtown Nashville when a rider they didn’t know pulled alongside them and bumped his tire.

The bump caused the victim to fall from his motorcycle.

When the victim attempted to exchange information with the man, he reportedly began attacking him and jumped over a guardrail to flee the scene.

Metro police told News 2 the attacker left behind his identification at the scene, which the victim gave to police.

The victim’s friend took him to a nearby gas station where he called police.

No additional information was immediately available.
