FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Charges will soon be filed against a Franklin teen who police say crashed into the Williamson County Health Department on Saturday night.
At 10:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1324 W. Main Street for a report of a vehicle into a building.
Officers responding to the scene found the 18-year-old driver unconscious and on the ground.
Authorities determined that the driver, who was traveling on West Meade Boulevard, left the roadway, drove down the sidewalk and over a row of mailboxes before crashing into the building.
The Franklin teen was taken to the hospital and has been released from the hospital.
Officers report that alcohol was a factor and charges are forthcoming.
