NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Several lanes of Interstate 40 closed early Monday morning after a tractor trailer rolled down an embankment.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the truck initially wrecked around 1:30 a.m.
Crews closed both east and westbound lanes just past the I-24 split near the Nashville International Airport. Some westbound lanes later reopened.
The truck driver was not hurt.
After rolling, resin from the truck’s trailer leaked. The hazmat team was alerted.
