NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN)- Hundreds of volunteers spent Saturday fixing up a Nashville school.
Members of Cornerstone Church carried out several projects, including painting and planting flowers at Alex Green Elementary School.
The principal told News 2 she had no idea so many volunteers would come to help cleanup the school.
“It’s an awesome sacrifice for people to take their Saturday and give their all. When I offer to help they say, ‘No, I got it’. It’s overwhelming how awesome everyone is,” said Robyn Beard.
Cornerstone Church takes on a project like this every second Saturday of the month. They say it’s their church’s way of serving.
