NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Seven people were displaced after a Hermitage townhome caught fire.

The blaze started at the Williams Bend Townhomes on Lincoya Bay Drive around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

A viewer sent News 2 a video of heavy smoke coming from the building.

Despite the heat, firefighters were able to put the fire out in 20 minutes and keep it from spreading.

No one was injured; however, two of the four units were heavily damaged and the roof had to be torn off.

Five adults and two children were displaced by the fire.

They are being assisted by the Red Cross.
