MANCHESTER, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man who was at the Bonnaroo Music Festival was killed early Saturday morning when he was hit while crossing Interstate 24.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol told News 2 the man was running across I-24 near the Manchester exit when he ran into the side of a moving semi truck around 1 a.m.
The victim, identified as 22-year-old Casey Young, of Louisville, was then hit by a Jeep, according to the THP.
Deputies said Young had no identification on him and investigators are working to trace his identity to his Bonnaroo bracelet.
Crews closed the eastbound lanes of I-24 during the investigation.
The roadway reopened to traffic around 3 a.m.
No additional information was immediately released.
