CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested Monday night after police say a woman and man were attacked in Clarksville.
Deputies were called to a home on Mooreland Drive in Cumberland Heights around 9:20 p.m. where they found the woman with her throat slit.
She was flown by helicopter to an area hospital. An update on her condition was not immediately released.
A second victim, a 30-year-old man, was found with lacerations to head, hands, arms, and foot. He was taken to an area hospital by ambulance in unknown condition.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Rayburn was identified as the suspect. He was on the scene when they arrived and taken into custody.
The 29-year-old faces two counts of aggravated assault and was booked into jail on $200,000 bond.
