US Navy wants wreckage from Blue Angels crash for investigation

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Did you happen to find any wreckage or debris from the crash that claimed the life of a Blue Angels pilot?

Captain Jeff Kuss’ F/A-18 Hornet went down in a field near the Sam Davis Home in Smyrna on June 2.

If you found or have any of the wreckage, the U.S. Navy is asking you to let authorities know.

An authorized investigator would come to collect those items so they may be used in the investigation of the crash.
