NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are on the lookout for a robbery suspect after a man showed up at a Nashville hospital with a gunshot wound Monday night.
Metro police say two people were walking near the CWA Apartments near Shelby Avenue and South 5th Street Monday night when a man approached them and showed a gun.
One of the people handed over their cell phone when the robber shot him in the side.
The 25-year-old victim walked into the St. Thomas Midtown Hospital with the non-life threatening gunshot wound, according to police.
The suspect is described as a young male with three-inch long dreadlocks. The suspect was wearing a red and blue shirt, stood about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed around 150 pounds.
