NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two men were arrested by Metro police and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 21-year-old last February.
Corvell Conley was shot inside a car at the intersection of Rural Hill Road and Bridgecrest Drive on Feb. 11. He died a week later.
Last Friday, police arrested Chad Edwards at a Hickory Highlands Drive apartment on a grand jury indictment. He is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.
Edwards, 21, remains in jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.
And on Tuesday, authorities arrested the second suspect, Jary Martinez, in Murfreesboro on a grand jury indictment charging him with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.
Martinez, 20, also remains jailed in lieu of $155,000 bond.
Metro police say no more additional arrests are expected.
