Police said Molnar failed to yield the right of way and struck a motorcycle driven by 60-year-old Stanley Wiser.

Wiser was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died Wednesday night.

According to police, Molnar, who appeared extremely intoxicated, was unaware he had been involved in a crash.

Police said he admitted to drinking prior to the crash and officers reportedly located two open bottles of liquor inside Molnar’s truck.

Molnar now faces multiple charges including vehicular assault, driving on a revoked license, open container violation and not providing evidence of insurance.

He remains jailed.

Police said Molnar has a prior DUI conviction in Sumner County.
