NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A local food pantry will be allowed to stay open another month in west Nashville.
The Little Pantry That Could was supposed to close Tuesday at its current location on Charlotte Avenue, since the church it operates out of is closing.
But the pantry’s director told News 2 they were given a month extension.
The pantry is currently trying to find a new location, but official said it’s been hard because property costs have increased in the area.
Between 160 to 200 families get groceries from the organization every week.
