NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol held a memorial service Thursday to remember officers who were killed in the line of duty.
The morning service took place at the Department of Safety & Homeland Security Training Center Annex Gymnasium in Nashville.
Sen. Jim Tracy was the keynote speaker, and several family members and friends of fallen officers were in attendance.
Forty-one state troopers have died while on the job. More than 20,000 officers have died nationwide.
