NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was arrested Thursday in connection with a shootout in Antioch that left bullet holes in an passing driver’s car.
Metro police reported 38-year-old Brian Britton was identified as one of the shooters by a witness.
Sarah Guest told News 2 she was shaken by what happened.
Her car is marred with large bullet holes and she says she came close to becoming a victim of senseless violence.
Guest said she pulled up to the intersection of Antioch Pike and Franklin Limestone Road on May 1 around 4 p.m. when two cars pulled up beside her and started shooting at each other.
“I heard a shot,” she recalled. “I didn’t really know what was going on. I looked up and I saw a gun pointed in my direction, so I ducked down and I hear ammunition hitting my car.”
Britton was booked into the Metro jail and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, drug possession and coercion of a witness. His bond was set at $255,000.
