TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) – The graduating class of Tullahoma High School honored a classmate who was recently killed in a crash.
Graduating seniors wore QB-8 on their caps in memory of Eli Grow Friday night.
Students also had the opportunity to leave flowers, notes and cards on a chair that were draped with Eli’s cap and gown.
His parents accepted his diploma on his behalf.
Eli was killed on April 30 on US Highway 41 in Normandy when he crossed the center line in his Nissan pickup truck, striking another vehicle head-on.
He was a football star and captain of his team and had recently signed to play for Mississippi College this fall.
