Man killed in crash after striking utility pole in Lebanon

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 25-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Wilson County early Friday morning.

It happened in the 3300 block of Tater Peeler Road shortly after Midnight.

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol told News 2 a truck driven by Cole Hovey, of Alexandria, went off the road and hit a power pole.

The victim was reportedly not wearing his seat belt. Authorities are investigating if alcohol played a factor in the crash.

No further details of the crash were immediately released.

Tater Peeler Road was closed as crews worked to repair the pole.
