HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Heavy rains in Hermitage and Mt. Juliet early Wednesday morning caused damage and traffic delays.

Rain was falling so hard that many drivers just pulled off the road because they could not see.

News 2 spoke with an UBER driver who made that decision.

“I was driving five miles an hour and I thought the hail had shattered the moon roof, but it didn’t, so but yeah, it was pretty loud,” he said.

A tree on West Division and South Greenhill Road in Mt. Juliet caused a traffic delay during the morning commute.
