2 cats, dog killed in Bellevue duplex fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two cats and a dog were killed in a fire in Bellevue Friday night.

It happened around 8 p.m. in the 9000 block of Sawyer Brown Road.

Officials told News 2 one of the two units of the duplex was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

That unit was heavily damaged and the other sustained smoke and water damage.

There was no one home at the time of the fire.

No details have been released about a cause for the blaze.
