NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Country music star Cole Swindell will celebrate his second album with a free concert in downtown Nashville Friday.
Swindell will place for free at The Stage on Lower Broad around 9:30 p.m.
Swindell said the title track from his new album, titled “You should be here,” is his favorite song he has ever written.
“I wrote it because I have also lost my dad and that’s what I was thinking about. So many people have their own ‘you should be here’ moments,” said Swindell.
“I have a lot of them and so many people do too, so I feel like to hear the response of the fans, it’s been unbelievable.”
Swindell will appear on Good Morning America on Monday.
