NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police have identified the car involved in a deadly hit-and-run in late April.

Lan Luong was hit while walking in the striped area between the travel lanes and the acceleration/merge lanes of Interstate 440 near West End Avenue on April 22. She died six days later.

At the time, police said a witness reported a Honda was travelling at a high rate of speed when it hit Luong, stopped momentarily, and continued to speed off.

That Honda has now been identified as a 2002 to 2005 satin silver Honda Civic Si hatchback. It would have significant passenger-side damage, including a missing side mirror.

Anyone with information about the Honda and/or its driver is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463 or the Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600.
