NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Komen Upper Cumberland and Komen Greater Nashville are joining forces to become Komen Central Tennessee.
It’s hoped that the merge will help make a larger impact in the fight against breast cancer.
The new affiliate will serve 25 counties.
“By combining resources, our two affiliates will be able to reduce operating costs and increase resources to help women and men access breast cancer education, screening, treatment and support services,” said Patty Harman, executive director of Komen Greater Nashville.
