NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Titans are expected to take a tackle with their first round pick Thursday, but it may take a trade to get it done.
News 2 has learned there’s a possibility Thursday that the Titans will trade into the back half of the top 10 to beat the New York Giants to Michigan State Offensive Tackle Jack Conklin.
Conklin is expected to be the third player at his position selected.
The Titans have looked at him extensively at the combine, pro-day and at a visit to the team facility in Nashville.
The Giants pick tenth and reportedly are also zeroing in on Conklin.
The Titans have also looked heavily at Laremy Tunsil, Ronnie Stanley and Taylor Decker at the tackle position.
