CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man police say was wanted for his alleged involvement in the death of a Clarksville woman has been taken into custody.
Police said Capitolla Cross, 38, was found dead inside a home on Harrier Court Tuesday around 6 p.m.
An investigation resulted in an arrest warrant for criminal homicide being issued for 32-year-old Demetris Merriweather.
Police announced Merriweather had been taken into custody around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Additional information regarding his arrest was not immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing.
