NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A fire broke out Wednesday night at the CubeSmart Storage units in West Nashville, destroying five of them.

The Nashville Fire Department was called just after 8 p.m. to the Robertson Avenue business.

There were heavy flames from one unit when firefighters arrived.

Fire officials had to cut through locks to get to other affected units. At least five were completely destroyed and possibly up to 10.

Dozens of others could have smoke and/or water damage as well. No one was injured.

The fire department said the unit where the fire started appeared to have lacquer and other flooring-related materials and equipment. The exact cause of fire is unknown and under investigation.
