Family held at gunpoint during Hermitage home invasion

HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are searching for four suspects who held a family at gunpoint during a home invasion in Hermitage Wednesday night.

It happened at a residence on Gina Brook Drive around 9:30 p.m.

Police told us the suspects came to the home and asked for a roommate, who was not at home at the time.

One suspect reportedly held the victims at gunpoint while the others searched the home.

It is unknown how many family members were held a gunpoint but Metro police did confirm children were present during the invasion.

It is unknown if the suspects fled the area in a car or on foot.

K-9 officers were called to the scene but were unable to pick up a scent.

The suspects were described as:

  • White male wearing blue jeans, black jacket, black ski mask and armed with a handgun.
  • Black male wearing a red shirt.
  • Black male with no other description.
  • Black female wearing a black jacket.

No one was injured during the incident.
