Man accused of robbing woman in Gallatin parking lot

GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 28-year-old man is behind bars after a woman robbed with a sharp object at her throat.

Police said it happened April 9 in a parking lot off North Water Avenue when she was sitting inside her car.

A white man approached in a baby blue hooded sweatshirt and black shorts then held a sharp object to her throat and demanded her cash, Gallatin police reported.

The suspect was identified as Tommy Combs, who was subsequently arrested at his home in Bethpage.

Combs has been charged with attempted aggravated robbery and booked into the Sumner County jail on $100,000.
