NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Rescue crews have called off the search for a father who went missing in Percy Priest Lake.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency told News 2 on Sunday that they have ended their recovery efforts for 36-year-old Jeremy Cross.
He took his 10-year-old son and a family friend canoeing last Saturday when choppy waves caused their boat to capsize.
Cross’ son and the family friend were both wearing life jackets, and Cross was last seen trying to put his on.
The TWRA searched all week for Cross but found no trace of the father.
