Murfreesboro red light cameras to stick around for 5 years

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – Murfreesboro residents are going to have to deal with red light cameras for another 5 years.

The city council agreed to a 5-year contract Thursday with a company out of Orlando, Florida, which ends its current contract with a different company.

The council also decided all the money that is generated from the cameras will go toward traffic safety.
