State leaders break ground on new state museum

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — State leaders broke ground on a new state museum Wednesday.

The new Tennessee State Museum will be located at the corner of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Jefferson Street in downtown Nashville.

There is a special vision for the 137,000 square foot project. It will be part museum, part virtual reality and part time machine.

It will allow visitors to become a part of the state’s history.
