Questions answered at meeting for new innovation academy

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WKRN/Smokey Barn News) – Parents in Robertson County can attend a meeting about the school district’s new Innovation Academy Monday night.

The meeting will help parents better understand the new middle school magnet program opening in the 2016-2017 school year.

Our partners at Smokey Barn News report the new magnet program will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). It will be housed at Springfield Middle School.

Monday’s meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. in the library at Springfield Middle School. Another meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 7.

Applications are due to Springfield Middle School by Friday, April 15. A downloadable application can be found here.
